Tour Overview
The Southern Garden Tour is a collection of stops at prominent trial gardens throughout the South during the first week of June each year. It is open only to members of the horticulture industry.
Participants begin at the industry open house at Young's Plant Farm in Auburn, Alabama. Explore over a half acre of USDA Zone 8 raised beds, which include both sun and shade conditions planted with more than 400 varieties of annuals, perennials and more. Visit the Young's Plant Farm page for more details.

The next stop on the Southern Garden Tour is the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, where a long-held tradition of plant trials spans more than 30 years. An open house will greet industry visitors on the morning of the tour, but the gardens are open all summer long to visitors.

At the final stop at Metrolina Greenhouses in Huntersville, North Carolina, industry attendees will peruse three acres of trials. Metrolina Greenhouses will host an invite-only consumer event for Home Garden Panel members the following day.
